Boarding

We are now offering the gear you have been asking for! Our logo has gotten incredible feedback from clients and not-yet-clients!
Please inquire about how you can get our logo on your favorite pieces of clothing. We also have some shirts picked out as well as a winter jacket for the colder season. 

Training

Kirsten Gray and Hailey Schwartz are offering training services at Sonnenhof Equestrian Center and, in limited instances, off-site. 

Our team of trainers stands united in believing in the systematic training and education of the horse, using lunging, long-lining, dressage, poles, cavallettis, Hangbahn, hacking and jumps in our training approach. We strongly believe in furthering our education consistently, and are active students.

Our Riding Academy is perfect for riders, who don't own a horse, but want to learn from a motivated, friendly and skilled team and well trained and well adjusted lesson horses! Riders can sign up for one or more lessons a week and get a permanent slot in our calendar to ensure progress. 

Flex Lease

Riders can also combine lessons and a flexible lease program, which is customized to their schedule and pocketbook.

At Sonnenhof Equestrian Center we offer a customized boarding plan and  'artgerechte Haltung', which is a German term translating into "species appropriate horse keeping". This concept makes all our horses very happy: We explore who likes each other, who likes to be outside 24/7 during summer months, who is more comfortable with a paddock buddy etc. 
 We realize that every horse is different and has different needs. Whether you have a horse who needs to live outside, or one that requires maximum/minimum turnout, we are able to accommodate your needs. We also make sure that you are NOT paying for services you don't need; all services are customized on a as-needed basis.


  • All of the boarding prices listed below include:

  • 2-3 Grain feedings per day (16 cups max., quality Purina Feeds)

  • 3-4 Hay feedings per day 

  • Daily cleaning of stall and paddock

  • Daily turnout (weather permitting) for up to 9 hours

  • Farrier, Veterinary and Dental scheduling

  • Unlimited use of all facilities, incl. Indoor Arena with state-of-the art GT Footing


  
Pricing: 

Stall Board Main Barn:  $ 1,520/month

Individual Run-In Paddock Board: $ 1,430/month
Optional Summer Herd Turnout: Addtl. $125/mo

We offer full day turn-out year round, and optional herd grass turnout in large fields from May-October!


Additional Cost may apply for grass turnout, tack cleaning, medical care, bathing, grooming and turnout wear.

PEMF. Pulse Electromagnetic Field Therapy

Kirsten Gray is a certified PEMF Practitioner for horses and humans, and is excited to offer PEMF therapy to our two- and four-legged clients (no travel):  20=30 min session: $85
